Precis writing example format
Write a precis of the following passage in 100 words.
Even though they must rise earlier in the morning and return home later in the evening, many London workers would rather live outside of the city and commute daily by train, automobile, or bus to their workplaces, factories, or educational institutions.
The lower cost of housing is one benefit of living outside of London. The cost of renting even a small apartment in London without a garden is high. One can purchase a small home with a garden of their own for the same amount of money.
However, some people don't care about country things; they find happiness in the city, with its theaters and movie theaters, lovely stores, bustling streets, dance halls, and eateries.
If such people were forced to live outside of London, they would feel that their lives were not worth living. They are quite willing to leave the rest of the country to those who are happy to escape London every night, except for the occasional stroll in one of the parks and a two-week trip to the sea each summer.

Many people prefer to stay outside London though every day they come to London by bus or train to work there. The reason why they do so inspite of their wastage of time on journey is that in London, house-rent is very high. Spending the same amount, they stay in better house in the country with space to raise a garden.
Besides, they breath the clean, free air of the country side and are no bothered by the noise of London. But there are some people who think that life will be wasted if they can not stay in London.
